Tail Mail

Now that Thanksgiving has passed, it's game on for stalking the mail box! Christmas is snail mail season as everyone sends out holiday cards. Our Diggers dog has graced many a greeting, as have bassets much like her...

...but she's not on the receiving end of much from the post office. Every now and then, though.....

she gets a little tail mail! Her BBFs (Best Barkers Forever) from St. Louis sent the sweetest note to say Happy Turkey!

As you might imagine, Staz + Kiwi's mom...she's a dog person, too.

Does your pet send tail mail? Does your pet recieve it? Or are my friends and I just off our rockers - hee?!

OMG! Can we have more in common? Buddy's doggy friend in California sent him a Christmas card in the mail this past week! I got home, checked the mail and there was a card from Cali Bear addressed to Buddy Stephens.
Her own Tiny Print cards!

We no longer have a pet, but I had my post-college cat for ten years, and he was part of every christmas card with Santa. When he died, I got another cat that coincides with meeting my husband. He helped pick the cat out. This cat was also part of the Christmas Card circuit, but he was a black cat and just did not photograph well. We would only see two eyes. Kids came into play, and they took over. My son ended up being allergic to Bailey so he now lives across town with another family. I don't think he's in their christmas card circuit either.

Our hounds receive more mail and pressies then we do around the holidays. Last year I think they got like 97 Cards and the humans got like 5. So see you are the only crazy one. Sniffs, The HoundDogs
