A Sore Loser

For the first time in months, I have been exercising. I am talking wake at 5am to work-out before work. Jackie Warner's Power Body Total Circuit has left me in total body pain so great I am considering getting one of these for my toilet...

Bending my legs in any way is flat-out excruciating.


You can imagine then, my fear when a long flight of twisting, marble stairs stood between me and a meeting room where I was scheduled to be for work. Yes, there is an elevator, but there is also a great stigma in being the person who hops on only to ride down one single floor.

So, I did what any self-respecting, totally out-of-shape 3O-something in stillettos would do....


To get where I needed to be I pulled the loser of all moves: I rode the elevator four floors down, got off, turned a corner, counted to 50, then went back to the elevator banks and caught a lift three floors up...right where I needed to be. I repeated this same shameless strategy to get back to my office after my meeting, too.


Now I don't know what hurts the most, my pride or my thighs. Or calves. Or arms.

First off, that toilet just cracked me up!!! Second, girl be brave! Use the elevator for one floor! haha Let people think what they will...
and you are just reminding me of how bad I need to start working out again. Did P90X this time last year...my muffin top says it's time to do it again :)

You poor thing! I know how you feel though. My body was hating me two days after I did the 30 day shred. It even hurt to sleep lol. I hope you get back to normal soon!
