Fat Tuesday..and How Much I Really Weigh
I'm a big fan of the NBC show The Biggest Loser. I can barely get through an episode without crying! Back in the day, Mr W and I would watch this show pigging out on pizza, popcorn, and wine. Not this season! This season, we're taking the Biggest Loser Challenge.
For the next 14 weeks, every Tuesday before we watch the show, we're weighing in...The tech-savy Mr. Dubs has created a little computer program to chart our progress. He even suggested that when we've neared or reached our goal weight we'll have a Make-Over Day just like the contestants...."You can get your hair done, we'll both get new clothes," he said, "and go on a date!" This made me have a very big crush on Mr. W!
I already know where I will shop when the skinny sets in....here, at The Shabby Apple. I found this website from another blogger, and I'm a little obsessed with it. When I get a craving for something naughty, I'll remind myself how cute this will look hugging my hips, instead of this...
I'm in it to win it, y'all!
As motivation, Mr. W and I did take some Before photos, just as The Biggest Loser contestants do....but I'm way too vain to share those just yet. Perhaps if there is mind-blowing progress, I'll show you the Befores alongside of the shots Sports Illustrated will surely take for next year's swimsuit issue....hee! We also stepped on the scale to assess the value of the newlywed spread that's found our guts. I have packed on 14 pounds since the wedding. FOURTEEN!!!
Because I am getting a little OCD with weight loss, I've started a blog dedicated entirely to my journey. I started I DO DECLARE to highlight and catalog fun, whimsical things...and dieting is far from fun. I hope you'll also follow me at The Red Dress Report. It will be a more serious look at my weight struggles and I hope, successes. My goal is to keep it very real....so if you go now you'll know what the DMV doensn't even know...my real weight.

I think you're adorable inside and out! Good luck with your progress... You should reward yourself with a Un-Southern cooking class when you reach your goal!
