That sums up a perfect day for me.
After getting rained out of our hayride at Larriland Farm, Dan and I led everyone on a country convoy.....
...to Linganore Winery. GPS, as it usually does, took us some crazy way that was one part Deliverance, one part Norman Rockwell 'til we arrived at the vineyard....
Now, I don't know how things are out West, but East Coast wineries have become the hottest place for.....
Nora + her sommelier dad
they fit in well at wineries, too.
Linganore is great to let wine tasters bring in their own spread.... (not every winery does that!)
and tasters get to sample several different labels. If you like sweet wine, you'll love Linganore, but if you're a more serious wine drinker, you'll at least appreciate the friendly staff and pretty grounds.
If you go during the fall or winter, wear a hat...there's no firepit outside, which would make a GREAT addition. But, there is a fancy fountain....
so what more, save a designated driver, does one really need?

Even if you got rained out of the hayride, it looks like a great fall weekend!
I couldn't agree more with your opinion of Linganore- I went there recently ( a few months ago) for Wine Festival with my sis!!! I was like, hey I recognize that place!?
Cool indeed. They do have super sweet fruity wines as opposed to more complex structured wines. Still a fun adventure though!
Fun! You'll be hitting a few wineries again this weekend!
I'm going to wear a hat too! :) YAY! Excited!!
Looks like you had a great time with your friends. I wish you lived here.
Cute photo of you and Dan.
