That's why long before he + I ever met, he traveled every November to the Virgin Islands. Now that he has met me, I get to tag along.
Because this year we've taken more trips than we normally do, I argued that we should forgo the walking on sand for a few days, and instead, put our money towards replacing the nasty, tattered, old carpet in our house with hardwood floors...that we could walk on ALL of our days.
I lost this argument.

Oh no! Well y'all should head down here to Orange Beach and Gulf Shores. Alan Jackson is doing a free concert next weekend and it's absolutely beautiful down here and I'm sure a lot cheaper too! Not the St. Somewhere the Hubs may be accustomed to, it's still a beach and there's plenty of sun!
OH NO!!!! That's such a bummer! Can you reschedule or ANYTHING???
We could have canceled w/out fee at the resort, but to rebook our flights would cost $500, and any changes in fare that there might be. So...we're still going. Some pools are fine, just not the main one. The beaches are swim at your own risk....
I just found your blog! I love the design! : )
No. Way.
well crap. i hope it's still fun! i mean probably anywhere you all are is fun so that's just a given
if it makes you feel better trip insurance doesn't cover weather, even hurricanes!
Oh no! But I know you guys will have a super time just being together and away from all the boring home things. :-)
